Barrisol Spots
The Barrispots are especially adapted for the Barrisol ceiling.
- No heat transmission to the ceiling
- Minimal heat transmission to the area above the ceiling(plenum)
- Directional
- Rated 50 Watts and an intensity of 12 Volts
- 50mm diameter bulbs
The Barrispot has a built-in transformer, so its possible to replace the unit without having to take down the ceiling.
In the plenum, a space of 80mm is necessary for the installation of the spots and their transformers.
Caution: Do not use spots with a power rating higher than 50 Watts. If the spot transmits 60c or more to the outer ring is not suitable, even with a spacer ring.
LEDSElectroluminescent diodes ( LED for Light Emitting Diode, for short) can be incorporated in Barrisol luminous ceilings for an even diffusion of light at the surface area.
The LEDs are ideal to create a subdued lighting effect, or for a rotating colour pattern and for low energy lighting
The LED lighting system is installed behind the Barrisol sheet, this area should be painted white to get the best from the lighting, helping the whole area to glow. The back should also be closed and covered with a clear Barrisol layer to avoid dust and insects interfering with the light system. This process will help to keep the lighting system clean and dirt free for a long period, cleaning is simply to remove and the replace the front layer.
The space of 150mm is necessary to the implementation of a diffuse glow lighting system.
The minimum distance between LEDs and BARRISOL sheet must not to be lower than 100mm to avoid the individual lights showing, though different lights might require different depths.

Fiber Optics
For a Starlight effect, or soft light ambiance, fiber-optics are ideal.
The fiber optic can be suspended, embedded and installed in the Barrisol stretched ceiling.
To implement optic fibers and its bulb set in the plenum, a space of 150mm is necessary.
Trichromatic Lighting
The advantage of the using a trichromatic system is to be able to create desired animations, atmosphere or colors.
This system is applicable to the fluorescent tubes as well as in LED systems
