What is a Stretch Ceiling System?
The Barrisol Stretch Ceiling System is a Patented Barrisol Fabric in a finish of the clients choosing, stretched between 2 points, either wall to wall across a ceiling, or floor to ceiling for a wall. In addition to ceilings, the system can be used for wall coverings, light diffusers, floating panels, exhibitions and creative shapes, domes, curves, vaults and slopes.


Barrisol is designed to allow integration of all types of light fixtures, grilles and fixing points by the use of their proprietary background support systems.  The system is a smart and very economical ceiling solution that will not crack, split, stain, crumble or need repainting, making it a cost effective alternative to traditional ceiling systems.

The Fabric
The Barrisol range is available in over 130 colours and 7 different finishes including Satin, Lacquered, Suede, Transluscent - for lighting effects, such as backlighting or projection - and Perforated for acoustic use. Each manufactured section has a welded, Barrisol Marked, Harpoon Edge which clips into the track, holding the material in place, while allowing for quick and easy demounting. - only genuine Barrisol ceilings have this mark.

The Track
Barrisol has many different track profiles and styles, for many different applications and joint style. For more information on the types of track and profiles available, please contact us. Barrisol is also approved to the new European Classification of EN13501-1 Rating: B,S2,d0 - class 0 in the uk. The lightweight sheets are purpose made from roll material to form any shape and size, typically up to 60 square metres in one piece.
